Hello! I'm originally from the US of A, but I've been living in Australia for the past 18 years (I became an Aussie citizen in 2020). I'm primarily introverted, but I'm also very happy to socialise when the opportunity arises, and I enjoy meeting new people (especially when I'm in a new place). I am respectful of other people's space, and I like chilled nights and mornings.

I enjoy cooking, reading, writing, listening to audiobooks, watching edifying movies/documentaries, working on my creative projects, going to interesting local events (e.g., Meetup gatherings), and exploring (both the city and the great outdoors). And sometimes binging youtube. :)

I'm moved to Brisbane on May 11 and I'm looking to meet locals and enjoy their company while I search for a place to live.

Music, Movies, and Books

Music:
Anything with a good tune or pensive lyrics! Classical, rock, pop, R and B, jazz. I like any kind of music that makes me feel something!

Movies:
Anything sci-fi/fantasy (e.g., Star Wars, Star Trek, Lord of the Rings) or involving an epic or moving story. I also love documentaries!

Books:
I love non-fiction books that open my mind and expand my awareness. For example, I'm currently listening to the audiobook version of "From Outer Space to Inner Space: An Apollo Astronaut's Journey Through the Material and Mystical Worlds", by Edgar Mitchell. It's a fascinating read!
I also like personal development and fiction books, especially ones that introduce me to a new perspective. For example, I loved listening to "The Alchemist" audiobook!

I had the privilege of witnessing a total solar eclipse over central Texas in April 2024! It was amazing!

I'm good at editing, so if you're writing something and need a second pair of eyes, I'd be happy to look it over to ensure it expresses your ideas clearly and sparks as much interest as possible in the mind of the reader. I also have some experience with video editing (using iMovie), so if you need help with that, I can provide basic assistance. Or if you simply need general help solving a particular problem, figuring something out, or a boost of inspiration, I would be glad to help. I enjoy challenges! The mind is a fascinating supercomputer!
