Overview
About Me
Happiness is like peeing your pants, everyone can see it but only you can feel its warmth.
I'm lifelong student--always trying to learn new things. I just graduated from the University of Massachusetts Amherst with a degree in Mechanical Engineering, but instead of looking for work this summer I am traveling around Europe. I play football (soccer), surf, ski, I try to make art.., i play the guitar, and I am almost always listening to music. Learning things, beer, family and friends are my top priorities.
I fucking hate Donald Trump... had to clear the air.
I couchsurfed 5 times in Europe this summer (2 references only, but there were really 5 different, great people who were somehow related to couchsurfing that I stayed with) and I would like to try to give back to the site that made my time on the road unequivocally great. I live with my parents, brother, cousin, and dog Murphy in a very small town one hour north of Boston. If you are interested in staying let me know as I will likely be living here for 3 months then moving to Vermont in January. Really, I'm just curious to see if I will get any requests in the area. Rolling the dice.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
I just like meeting people that like meeting people.

Music, Movies, and Books
Music: Jimi, Clapton, Stevie Ray Vaughn, RHCP, Fleetwood Mac, Pink Floyd, Eddie Vedder, Bob D., Bob M., any delta bluesers like Jimmy Reed, Freddy Kind, Big Bill Broonzy etc., I could sit and listen to good music all day long.
Movies: Forrest Gump, Interstellar, iRobot, The Great Escape, Birdman, etc.
Books: Zen & The Art of Motorcycle Maintenance, Siddhartha, Travels with Charlie. Slow reader but always reading anyways. Let me know if you want to trade books (don't know what else to do with the ones I'm traveling with right now).
