Single father of 4 kids ranging from early 20s to 9. I'm quite active, I cycle and play squash, hike (Hamilton is the waterfall capital of the world, you know!!), I'm a member of the YMCA, love days at the beach, I like board and card games, I guess you could say I'm a movie buff (but don't watch TV programs) and I read some.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

At the time of writing this, I had not couchsurfed even once, however, the idea of people opening their homes in order to meet people from all over the world and help make travel more affordable is very appealing. It has a nice personal touch. One would have to be very kind to do such a thing, and I just think kindness is awesome!

Music, Movies, and Books

I like every kind of music. As for movies, foreign films seem to; particularly films from Mexico (Y Tu Mama Tambien, Eisenstein in Guanaguato) and Sweden/Norway/Finland/Norway (Head Hunters, The Girl with the Dragon Tattoo series), and Australia, though the titles for it escape me right now. My all time favourite book so far is Wuthering Heights by Emily Bronte.
