Overview
About Me
I was born in Vancouver, but my parents are from Ontario and I grew up here in Montréal. I speak English and French fluently. I can follow some other languages a little bit (Spanish, Italian, German, etc.). I mean a *very little bit* :)
I studied music, and I work in music and audio whenever I can. However, I've also been a software professional for almost 20 years (pays the bills a bit quicker! ;) ).
I have lots of kids, no pets although I like animals. I like to keep active (swimming, biking, skateboarding, walking, etc. etc.). I loooove good food.
I love travelling and enjoying life.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
I'm on couchsurfing because I love travelling and meeting new people. I don't really prefer the hotel / resort experience, although sometimes I do it anyway. When I need to stay in hotels, I try to use boutique hotels.
I prefer staying with friends when I can (or traveling with friends or family). However, there are cities I would like to visit, but I don't know people in those cities! That's where Couchsurfing comes in! I also like camping quite a lot when it's possible. I prefer spending money on food, outings, etc. than on boring & sterile hotels.

Music, Movies, and Books
Music -> all sorts!
Movies -> tend to be dark movies, movies with plot twists, movies with character development & ensemble casts, "unlikely friendship" movies.
Favourite books -> Étranger de Camus, Shakespeare, Cyrano de Bergerac, most Edgar Allen Poe (and the Beaudelaire translations), Fight Club, and more.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
I knocked a glass of water off a table and caught it without spilling a drop. I've also saved lives a couple times (mostly in rivers, lakes, and ocean... most times my children).
Teach, Learn, Share
Music, Computer Science, Books.
