About Me

Hello there! I'm about to embark on a journey to Washington D.C. and can't wait to live in our nations capital! I've lived in Florida, Michigan, Illinois(just 10 miles east of St. Louis), Texas, and soon Virginia. I've never done couchsurfing before but I heard it's a great way to travel and experience new towns.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I am moving to Washington D.C. soon for a great job opportunity which is why I decided to put a profile on this app. Quite simply, I need your help lol. Just looking for a place to rest my head in the evening while I look for a permanent residence during the day. This could also be a great way to make some new friends in the area :)

Music, Movies, and Books

I'm very open on music (80's, country, alternative, house, classical).

I really like the authors Clancy, Heinlein, Asimov, and Grisham. So basically anything sci-fi, military fiction, and the legal genre.

Definitely a fan of comedies, thriller/suspense, and typical action flicks. Also liked any of the Lord of the Rings movies, as well as Harry Potter. Looking forward to the new Star Wars movies without George Lucas' influence.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Saw the Blue Angels fly under me once while I was in the St. Louis Arch.

Teach, Learn, Share

If I could find someone to help me hone my German language skills that'd be great! Would also be great to meet someone who'd be eager to see the museums in the area. Honestly can't wait to see the National Air and Space Museum.

I can also teach the basics of Tennis to you if you'd like. I do have multiple tennis racquets in case you don't have one.

What I Can Share with Hosts

I can help lend a hand with anything that needs to get done around your place. I can also make a mean Apple crisp dessert or some amazing French toast ;)

Countries I’ve Visited

Bahamas, Canada
