Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I am really interested in meeting local people that live differently than I do. I've found that hostels don't really connect you with locals and it's hard to meet people that genuinely want to hang out and show you around. So I think that the couch surfing might be a good way to experience a country and culture.

My dad always taught me that it is necessary to be vulnerable and honest with people in order to experience genuine human connection. I believe that storytelling is the best way to share lived experiences and I travel in order to expand my worldview and my comfort zone.
