About Me

A few weeks a year I need to get away from everything and travel to interesting places. Many times with friends, but I treasure my solo trips even more. Traveling by yourself is very rewarding and I enjoy it very much, and it's made much more special if you meet people on your journeys from different cultures to share your experiences with.

I'm always down to enjoy a good time but my hardest partying days are behind me; left in my 20s when I was in college and then lived on the beach for a time. I'd much rather hang out with a hippie than a frat boy, but prefer people who are grounded somewhere in between and don't have any labels. Music and the outdoors are a big part of my life. I'm the type of person who is a bit difficult to get to know at first, but will open up quickly to anyone who has a similar vibe.

Family is extremely important to me, which is the only reason I returned to the city where I was born as my parents have gotten older.

Everyone should be a positive person, have a sense of humor, and above all try to treat others well.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

To open up more possibilities of meeting others while traveling the world.

I'm pretty new to CS, and haven't stayed with or hosted anyone yet. I joined mainly to meet new people, not to find a free place to stay.

Interests

I love to snowboard. I love live music. I've played competitive soccer my whole life and am a huge fan of the game as well. Anything with the outdoors is enjoyable to me.
