About Me

I'm a recent college graduate with a degree in Environmental science from New York City. I love exploring both urban and rural environments, reading, video games skateboarding, cooking, learning languages, music, coffee, and movies.
I want to travel now since I just got out of school and would love to see as much as I can before I head back home to start my career. As of now, I am a barista and can make you awesome coffee :) and have spent my time working in food service.
My life goal is to visit all seven continents and my career path in environmental science will help me with this goal. I am interested mostly in working in the coastal or oceanography fields. I am looking forward to working in a related field once I'm done traveling.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I want to see the world, not as a tourist, but more with a local and someone who can show me what their home is truly about. Being from NY, I see people who walk around in large groups, getting information read off a piece of paper and seeing only the sights from popular media. I want to be shown your city through your own eyes, and get the best cultural experience possible. For now, I am not able to accommodate guests, but one day I hope to be able to pay it forward.

Music, Movies, and Books

I love rap, chillhop, some punk, jazz, rock, and classical.

I watch a lot of movies, and some of my favorites are: Inglorious Basterds, The Departed, and Pulp Fiction.

My favorite author is Kurt Vonnegut, but I also like to read about history.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I broke my jaw in half once...

Teach, Learn, Share

Did you know the pineapple isn't native to Hawaii?

What I Can Share with Hosts

I can help around the house with tasks, and talk about my life in New York, where I've spent my whole life. I look forward to exchanging cultures.
