As a writer, I am someone who both loves to live and observe life. I love people, new experiences, new places, and anything creative or fun. Laughing and sharing stories is simply the best.

I spent many years in Los Angeles working in television and film before deciding that I wasn't a fan of the rat race there and would much rather be traveling, seeing new places, soaking in nature, and writing.

I have the most amazing life partner, Chelsey. We have traveled many states and even another country together. She works as a copy writer and graphic designer and is finishing her first novel.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I was on Couchsurfing before and met a couple of dear friends while traveling. It's the best. I lost my old profile somehow so here I am starting over.
Chelsey and I tried to settle down in Portland, OR after a year of traveling but have experienced some setbacks so we are headed to hang out with the family for the winter, which we are really excited about. We are hoping to meet some new people along our journey there.

Interests

We love to talk about culture, philosophy, psychology (which is what I studied), sociology (which is what she studio), music, art, and really anything at all that someone is passionate about. We like passionate people. We love live music, the occasional drink out, good and healthy food, art, movies, books, the outdoors, long hikes, and well, just about anything that's not harmful to others if with the right people.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I learned how to walk, talk, and read again after a brain injury. Doctors told me to get used to the "new me," but I refused and fully rehabilitated.
