To see as much of the country as I move to to Los Angeles -- before Hollywood robs me of all pride, dignity, creativity, intelligence, and drive.

ABOUT ME

I'm from Maryland originally, and have spent the past few years bouncing between New York City and Los Angeles. I love film, writing, and new music... And I have a weird soft spot for horror movies. I've backpacked all over Australia's Outback (and even directed a National Geographic special about it! http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=1hARwXzquQY) and then Bali, and I THINK that I can maybe possibly try to entertain you with stories about it. I'll even make stuff up if it turns out you're not interested in anything I have to say.

PHILOSOPHY

I mean, really, what other point is there than to find what makes you happy and to do it? And one of the main things that should make you happy: making other people happy.

I want to be a writer, and I think writers need something to say. So right now, I'm collecting/participating in as many experiences as I can to make sure I've got a full, rich life.

I love film, travel, storytelling... I've recently developed an overwhelming urge to get a tattoo but I haven't yet. I love new music and live comedy and I've performed improv/sketch comedy before. I love lists... I'm a big to-do lister, even though I never complete any of it.
