About Me
CURRENT MISSION
To live more.
ABOUT ME
My name is A.J. I am a nerdy musician from Las Vegas, NV. I love new experiences and have been expanding my horizons after having lived my entire life in one area. I am very open-minded and honest and appreciative of everything that this life has given me in the short amount of time I have spent on this Earth.
PHILOSOPHY
I live as open-minded as I can. I love philosophy and understand that the only thing I know is that I know nothing. I am not here to judge anybody and their life choices. I believe that everybody has something to offer and I am open to accepting it.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING
Just got involved, currently looking for a place to stay, looking to buy a house in the near future where I can offer a couch. But currently living at my parents' so cannot offer a couch at this time.
COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE
I just officially couchsurfed for the first time. I went to Portland, Oregon and stayed for 4 days. It was awesome and my host was so hospitable. Loved the whole experience and am excited to meet more people in this fun way.
Interests
I love music, mostly indie and punk rock. I play guitar and love to write and create as much as I possibly can. I am also a huge hockey fan and have followed the Pittsburgh Penguins since the age of 5. In the past, they have been my reason for travel, visiting hockey stadiums around North America. I spend my time at home working on the education team at a local museum/cultural facility and find that working with kids is a lot of fun and provides me with tons of funny stories every day.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
Performing music has provided me with such amazing experiences that anyone who has attempted to convey something through an artistic means can appreciate as something beyond verbal description. My travels have provided me with too many great experiences to really type in this box. I absolutely loved Pittsburgh, getting to see their brand new, state of the art hockey stadium and spend time in their fun South Side area. It was just a fun town with filled with proud people that were cool to meet. Vancouver was really cool too, as you really see the kindness of the Canadian people and everyone everywhere wants to talk hockey which is of course awesome. Seattle was a blast as I stayed right in the heart of downtown and got to see some cool bars and restaurants and see a Sounders soccer game. Wrigley field in Chicago is beyond description and the Windy City was blowing to the outfield that day so we saw 9 home runs in one game. Life has blessed me with much.
