I am an eagerly curious individual. I hold academia in high value and tolerance of others. I have adopted many Buddhist philosophies into my life. I preach kindness, tolerance, and honesty. I despise intolerance or pre-judgments.

PHILOSOPHY

To be peaceful with everyone. To be tolerate of all individuals- gay, straight, transgender, black, white, etc! It doesn't matter to me in the slightest. This feeling is exhilarating. I have no hate in my heart.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I couchsurf! When I return to Vancouver I will want to host people. For now, I am travelling and being a surfer.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I have had many couchsurfing hosts now. Although it was under my girlfriends (at the time) profile. She got all the references!!! I must start from scratch... but I have had a pleasant time couchsurfing!!!

Interests

I love discussing metaphysical issues, or philosophical topics in general. I love talking about physics and the universe. Other interests include: hockey, guitar, music, travelling, and people !!! I am also a little bit of a nerd/geek. If you have a computer which needs fixing, hooking up any electronics, etc.... I am your guy!

Music, Movies, and Books

Movies: Alright, I am a sucker for the action flicks: ironman, superman, batman, any kind of _____-man really! I also love: shawshank, i love you man, my idiot brother, requium for a dream, Armageddon(i will cry at the end haha!)
music: as cliche as it sounds: everything. I started playing guitar 10 years ago now - this was due to loving Metallica and metal bands. But i honestly listen to a wide range. I love house music, rock, even bosonova :) The only genre I dont really listen to is country.
Books: I dont really read fiction novels - as I like the movies for the that. I do love to read Buddhist philosophy books, space, physics, math books. Again.. Im kind of a nerd.

I am the master of useless(maybe?) factoids! Why is the sky blue? Why do we have leap years? What causes the waves? How does the Sun work? String Theory? etc....

I love the quote:

Which translates to: everyone is smart in their own way. Be it with numbers, art, creativity, life, etc. Everyone you meet will be better at at least one thing than you are. So learn that thing from them.
