Interests

The main things that make my life interesting are volunteering and being with friends. I have just this year been volunteering in Kenya and Tanzania for two months and afterwards I have been traveling through northern America with friends. If I am not traveling, i love riding my bike, listening to music and very importantly cooking and eating! A large passion of mine is definitely is physical activity and health and also working with children.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Climbing Mt Kilimanjaro was pretty amazing!

One of the biggest awesome moments was after having spent two months in Eastern Africa was observing the simple happiness and sense of community in the people. They have so little in the way of materialistic items when compared to us, but they are on a whole, happy, unstressed, calm people who aren't caught up trivial issues which the Western World often are. They have time to stop and talk to one another and are happy to do so.

Countries I’ve Visited

Canada, Kenya, Tanzania, Thailand, United States
