ABOUT ME

Some of the best ways to describe myself, is easy going, and extremely laid back; knowing any kind of situation can be solved by a few rounds of beer. I'm very open minded and love to talk about whatever on people's mind from video games, to movies, to current events. I try not to be a mindless drone and like to be involved in issues that I care about even though they might be absurd to some people. I'm also very dependable and there when it counts, and don't like do anything half-ass as I'm committed to whatever lies ahead.

PHILOSOPHY

Growing up in the mid-west I grew up with a set of values that I try to take with me everywhere I go. I never found myself straying to far from the tree as I always try and be respectful, chip in and help when I can, always bring a good sense of humor, and never overstay your welcome unless asked. ;)

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I never have participated in couchsuring until recently, so fairly new to the experience.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I haven't had much couchsurfing passed staying with friend and family, but I'm looking forward trying out new things and see in where life takes me.

兴趣

My interest fall all over the spectrum as I love to volunteer is one of my biggest drives, having done 2 years of services in AmeriCorps it has started to become my passion. Besides volunteering I like to read anything I can get my hands on with Christopher Moore, Kurt Vannegut, Max Brooks, and Tim O'Brian to name a few; big music junkie leaning mostly towards alternative rock/indie but open minded to whatever is playing. Above all, I love to travel! Any chance I can get to hop on a plane, get in a car, or simply busting out the thumb I'm down for whatever adventure lies ahead.

The top 5 things I have done so far in my life was having the opportunity to help out in the recovery effort in New Orleans after Hurricane Katrina, teaching English in China, rebuilding schools in Haiti are the devastating earthquake back in '10, watching the 4th of July fireworkds at Mall in DC, and living aboard in England.
