ABOUT ME

I am from Laguna Beach, which is a small seaside village in Southern California. In the spring of 2012 I graduated from UCSD with a degree in chemistry, and afterwords worked for Novartis during summer in San Diego. Instead of jumping straight into my PhD in the states, I decided to do something to broaden my world view: I took a job located in Zurich for a year! This has proved to be one of the best decisions I've made in my life, and it has afforded me with the opportunity to travel and make new many new wonderful friends across Europe.

I'm outgoing, positive, respectful, clean, openminded, and I think laughter and smiling are just as important to me as sleeping and eating.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I've sailed a large portion of the California Coast in "Tall Ships" (replicas of boats from 1700s), kiteboarded under the Golden Gate Bridge in San Francisco, Surfed in 3 different bodies of water, peak bagged 14,000ft peaks in the Sierras, ran close to 100 miles in a week, snowboarded in the alpes, surfed at night (naked)... and so much more.
