ABOUT ME

I'm originally from Pennsylvania, United States but am studying abroad in Brussels until mid-December. I'm a 21-year-old journalism student at the University of Missouri. I'd say I am fairly laid back but also responsible. Good-spirited, somewhat sarcastic and dry sense of humor. I'm eager to see Europe and get the most out of my time here.

Interests

Studying narrative journalism, reading fiction, keeping a journal, etc. I love going to concerts and a lot of folk-rock, indie and blues music. My favorite artists are Josh Ritter, Wilco, My Morning Jacket, Ryan Adams and Bruce Springsteen. I also like to golf, and I play some basketball. Walking around and exploring places is always fun.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

The only time I was in Europe before was a 10-day trip to Germany, Austria and Switzerland four years ago with a high school class. We were in Munich the night of the 2008 Eurocup semifinal game between Germany and Turkey. My friend and I met some German fans at a pub and had a great night with them.
Any quiet, sunny day on a beautiful golf course always leaves me awestruck.
