About Me

High-school teacher. Relaxed. Likes tea and coffee. Very physically active, hiking and biking. When I can't get out of the city I do a lot of calisthenics, animal movement and running.
I love to cook - my current rotation is pasta al assassina, variations on fried rice, biryani, ribollita, courgette confit.

Current mission
Climb things, jump off of things. Drink good coffee. I love my job, difficult as it is. I teach Physics and Mathematics in a private school in Tbilisi, so I'm almost constantly immersed in foreign cultures. I travel extensively in Georgia, a country I have really fallen in love with, so I'm happy to help people to see what a wonderful place this is.

Philosophy
Every single human deserves respect and compassion from the beginning, even the monsters. If you can't be anything else, be kind. Those that can't show kindness probably need a lot of it.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I've met some really wonderful, funny, interesting people on my travels. This gives a fantastic way to meet locals, or to introduce people to the local experience. Even when the surfers have been very different, I've always found a way to connect meaningfully with them, and remember every single one of them.
