South Gippsland is a magical place to live and we enjoy hiking, riding, catching various music gigs and festivals... we love the region.
Some of the hikes/rides we have done include Kumano Kodo (Japan), Camino (Spain), Inca Trail (Peru), Lost City (Colombia), various in New Zealand and Australia including Larapinta, Wilsons Promontory, 3 Capes, Queen Charolette, Tongariro Alpine Crossing, Dunstan and Otago Rail Trails.
We document our adventures on our YouTube channel 2live2travel although we have a lot to catch up on.

We are respectful of other people.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

We want to met people and make friends.

We want to host couchsurfers so we highlight South Gippsland and all it has to offer and hear about where they are from and there travels.

Couchsurfing offers an opportunity to decrease accommodation costs which allows us to travel longer and get a deeper understanding of the people and places we are visiting, not just the tourist areas.

Music, Movies, and Books

We like different types of music and movies, we like movies and documentaries based on real stories.
Penni is the reader and Andrew likes to listen to Audio books and podcasts.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

So many places, things and people it's pretty hard to pick one, but if I have to its the Camino de Santiago, it was a very special experience for Andrew, 31 days walking 800 kms across Spain. The things he saw, and so many great people I met some for a few minutes, some for a few hours, some for days, some for a few weeks and others will be life long friends.
I cannot recommend it enough, just do it don't over think it as it will all work out in the end.
Penni's would be hiking the Inca Trail and entering Machu Picchu via the Sun Gate.

Teach, Learn, Share

We can teach you about "Our Australia" the places we have been to, our take on our culture and we can have some fun as we help you translate from Australian English/slang into English for example if you go to a Pub (bar) and you see a sign that says "No Thongs" they mean no flip-flops they are not going to check your underwear!!!

What I Can Share with Hosts

We love hearing about others life experiences and sharing ours. We give you a bit of a insight into our life in Australia.
Penni is a great cook, and Andrew can cut onions and clean up after himself and others.
