About Me

I am a 21 year old human services worker from Pennsylvania, USA. One of my life goals is to travel to more countries than years I've been alive. So far I've kept that goal, as I've been to 22 countries total. I love to meet new people, try new things, and experience as much as I can of the world around me.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I love to travel on a shoestring budget, and I love to meet people. Couchsurfer is literally the perfect thing for me.

It is also a goal of mine to see, and to understand, the world in which I am living. I am fortunate enough to live in a world where I can experience culture. The world is just a short plane ride away.

Interests

I like to stay active whenever possible, and I love company. I hate staying in one area for too long, but I have been known to sit in one place for days if I'm reading a good book.

Music, Movies, and Books

Books: Anything by Dan Brown, Hitchhikers Guide to the Galaxy

Music: Most Indie Music. I LOVE attending music festivals. Radical Face, Fleet Foxes, Modest Mouse, etc. I also sing when I know no one is listening...but it's not very good.

Movies: I've literally seen them all, but dislike most of them. Cloud Atlas, Forest Gump, Eternal Sunshine of the Spotless Mind, and Cold Mountain rank closest to the top.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

In the September of 2015, I had the amazing opportunity to take a community outreach trip to Uganda. While there, I assisted a local organization in the building and initial running of a mental health center for children with disabilities.

What I Can Share with Hosts

I can recite to you terrible poetry I've written over the years, intentionally lose card games, and talk to you about just about anything. As a Human services worker, it is literally my job to talk to people, and I've gotten pretty darn good.

Countries I’ve Visited

Canada, Egypt, Guam, Italy, Japan, Jordan, Northern Mariana Islands, Peru, Philippines, Qatar, Thailand, Uganda, United Arab Emirates, United States
