Similar to most people on CS, I love to travel. I enjoy hearing stories, meeting people, and trying that experimentally sketchy yet beyond divine food off the side of the road. Right now, my girlfriend and I are traveling on an extended ski trip, which will turn into a summer trip when the snow melts.

We travel mostly using airline miles, which has enabled us to plan long trips to new and different places. Growing up in Colorado has made me love the mountains, whether it is skiing, camping or biking. I would love to meet people who have similar interests in new places where we can go on fun adventures together!

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I like to read through people's profiles and see where they have been, so I can hopefully grab a tip or two off them before I hopefully do a similar trip. It is always nice to get some local knowledge (yes, that is probably an over used term but I am going to run with it) while in a new place. I would really love to meet people who like to do activities in the mountains, and could show me new places to ski, camp, bike etc.

Interests

I enjoy anything mountain based and adventure types of things, favorites being skiing (backcountry and resort) and camping.

Beyond the outdoors, I love to know how things work, so incessantly looking up systems and the logistics of getting around the world is on my mind.
