My names Andy. Spent most of my life in Liverpool. I work as an ICU nurse in the UK but I am currently on a years career break :)

Interests include live music, good food and drink and anything outdoors. I play guitar OK and a couple of other instruments badly :)

I'm an open minded person who is always interested in trying new things and exploring new places.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

At the moment I am traveling with my girlfriend (she's Spanish for those who are not good with English) starting in Ecuador and moving slowly north to Colombia, Panama, etc.

We feel that couch surfing is a good way to meet local people and find out good information about the areas we travel too.

Music, Movies, and Books

I like a wide variety of music. Favorites are Jazz, Folk, Blues and Electronic (house, disco and techno) .

Favorite book is 'As I Walked Out One Midsummer Morning' by Laurie Lee, but other favorite authors include Hemingway, Orwell, etc.

I watch TV/Movies infrequently but I like anything well made.

Teach, Learn, Share

I am hoping to learn Spanish as I travel. If you play any instruments I always like to listen and learn. I play guitar myself and could share the things I know.

What I Can Share with Hosts

Knowledge on the things I am interested in (beer in particular). I enjoy socializing so will always be happy to head out and get up to interesting things.
