Hello folks, Im Andy, originally from sunny Aberdeen in Scotland (*sarcastic face*). I studied down in England for university and now work for a French energy company here in Aberdeen.

I'd say im a pretty easy going guy, constantly having a laugh and messing around. Love to meet new and interesting people.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

So far ive only couch surfed in France, spending about a week travelling from Bordeaux to Toulouse and then 5 nights in Paris.... and LOVED it. It's such an awesome way to meet fascinating local people and have a true experience of the places you go to. I will definitely be surfing again on future trips...however, the tricky part is choosing where to go next - too many cool places and not enough time!

In Aberdeen, ive met up with other hosts and surfers for nights out, and hosted a few travellers passing through

Travelling is definitely the most worthwhile thing i spend any time/money on. Apart from that, i pretty much lay low throughout the week (due to work) and then party hard at the weekend. Always need to stay active though - football, rugby and gym mainly.

- FUNNY movies for sure - Old School, Anchorman and Wedding Crashers are def up there near the top.

- Really easy when it comes to music - i listen to almost anything.

- French grammar books are about as exciting as my reading material gets currently.

The most exciting thing ive done recently is BOBSLEIGH. Such an amazing experience: 80+ mph (miles per hour for you metric system users)with an olympic silver medalist behind the wheel. Best hangover cure ive discovered so far!
