Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I went on a backpacking trip in Europe from June 2nd until August 27th (2009) with my close friend. I currently can't host visitors, but I enjoy grabbing a coffee or drink and showing people around San Diego.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

So far, I've only had positive experiences surfing at other people's houses.

Interests

I'm generally a curious and exploratory person. I enjoy connecting with people on a deep level, so I'm not really into any superficial and surface-level interactions. I love music (listening to and performing) and rock climbing, but lately, I've been into vegan/whole food plant-based cooking/nutrition. I'm also passionate about spirituality, meditation, Qigong, slack lining, yoga, nature, cycling, environmentalism, camping, and adventures (both solo and group). I've been prone to saying YES to new things lately, especially if it feels right.

I've enjoyed many books recently, but the book I can't stop recommending right now is The Secret Life of Plants. It explains so much about humans' relationships with plants from the physical, emotional, and spiritual perspectives we know to exist.

2016: Traveled to Bali with a group of amazing people.

2013: Went on a 30-day/30-show tour with my band along the West Coast.

2009: Backpacked Europe for two months with my best friend.
