I was born in China, and finished my education in China, too. Then I moved to America and Canada to chase a science dream, and finally got an opportunity to set up a lab here in Hainan. I feel fortunate about my journey of life, as I grew up in a remote village, but turned out to have the freedom to travel around the globe and get to know people all over the world. I cherish this freedom.
