Everyone should ride a bicycle. It is good for you. It is good for the planet.

ABOUT ME

I regularly commuted to work by bicycle. I choose not to eat meat. I don't smoke. I enjoy the occasional beer or glass of wine. I am learning to play the organ. I keep up the family genealogy records. I have a 1970 Nova, which I keep running and enjoy showing. I windsurf, but not recently. I like learning languages. I like knowing the plants and birds. I had pet saltwater fish.

PHILOSOPHY

I like quiet activities. I like gaining new skills and knowledge. Life is good. I value and encourage a safe home. I try not to leave waste in my path, as I pass through.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I had a great first experience, with Bruce and Becky, at their home overlooking the Mississippi River. Bruce introduced me to his community and went biking with me.

We have had some wonderful guests. It is like traveling, without leaving home.
