I've been married for over five years to a pretty sweet gal. She works a boring finance job so that I can work at a school and make no money! Whoever says love doesn't exist?

I have surfed a bit, but hosted even more. The hardest part about being part of the couch surfing community is that I don't live somewhere that is frequented very often by travelers unless they are heading from L.A. to Austin

Music: To name a few: Local Natives, Grizzly Bear, Sun Bones, Sufjan Stevens, Maps and Atlases, Beirut, Blind Pilot, mewithoutYou, Fleet Foxes, Haim, Chvrches, Neutral Milk Hotel, Bon Iver, Band of Horses, Pinback, Portugal the Man, etc etc.

Movies: 28 Days Later, Eternal Sunshine of the Spotless Mind, Smart People, The Illusionist, LoTR, Star Wars, Life of Pi, etc.

Books: Harry Potter, The King Killer Chronicles, LoTR, Ender's Game, etc. Real life can be too real sometimes, so I escape in science fiction and fantasy.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Niagara Falls is pretty great if you're into that kind of thing. And by into that kind of thing, I mean having your breath taken away by the sheer and utter beauty of everything nature has to offer.

Teach, Learn, Share

I can teach you some music stuff if you'd like, or how to be super-good at 6th grade math. I can also be persuaded to share a recipe or two...sometimes...

I want to learn about other people's travels, since I can never seem to afford to travel as much as I would like. Let me live vicariously through your amazing experiences!

Also, I'm a homeowner who doesn't home-own very well. Teach me to power tool, and I will be forever in your debt.

I can share anything you want while you're surfing with us, as long as you're not swingers (I mean, that's cool too, but not for me)
