About Me

Singaporean Chinese
Medical Doctor; Family Medicine resident
Working in the public sector in Singapore
Have learned German for a couple of years previously
Native English, Mandarin Chinese & Hokkien/Taiwanese speaker

My friends would say I'm the nicest guy they know :)
I'd say that I'm just considerate and respectful. I value hygiene & cleanliness too.
When I'm overseas, I'm often very spontaneous with my itinerary and often looking to locals for their recommendations!

I run regularly to keep fit, so that I can indulge without guilt.
I've participated in a couple of marathons before, but nothing more so far.
I'm not a great swimmer, so have yet to participate in any aquathaons.

I play the flute and am in an alumni symphonic band.
We hold our own annual concerts too!

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I'm always looking for hidden gems and recommendations from the locals, and what better way to find out than to stay with a local?

I'd be glad to bring friends & travellers around Singapore; but unfortunately I don't have any available space at the moment for surfing.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

2) Seeing a manta ray while para-sailing in Mauritius
3) Oversleeping on a high-speed train in Germany and got stranded at a train station till the next morning. Twice, hah!
4) Travelled to Tibet

Teach, Learn, Share

I could teach you Mandarin Chinese or some basic German, and I'd definitely love to improve my Cantonese & Malay (and German of course)!
