To use my newly acquired passport as often as possible, and to never stop learning.

ABOUT ME

I live on a 27 acre property about 35 mins South of Hobart, with stunning views of the Dentrecateaux Channel and Bruny Island. I am self employed, and consider myself articulate, very easy going, honest, and creative. I really enjoy animated conversation, laughter, cooking for people, good wine, the occasional single malt, and sharing stories. I love live music.
I share my house with my three children, who live with me part time, and an aged Kelpie who lives with me full time.

PHILOSOPHY

Do as you would be done by. This applies to the natural world as much as it does fellow humans.
A world without song would not be worth living in.

Brand new to this! I am keen to meet people from diverse backgrounds, and share my little piece of paradise.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

None as yet, but after 37 years I am about to leave Australia for the first time (bit of a late bloomer me)!

I live for music. I have diverse, eclectic tastes, and am always seeking to broaden my education. I love playing (things with strings mostly) and am always up for a jam, or hearing something new.

Occasional visits from a white goshawk. I regularly see sea eagles circling out of my kitchen window! Being accosted by a wild dolphin near Freycinet insistent of getting a pat....

I would take pleasure in sharing my knowledge of Tasmania's wild places, land forms, and flora with respectful folk, and learning something of your part of the world.
Teach and learn about "sustainablilty' in housing and design.
