I'm always looking for my next adventure. I grew up in the north woods of MN and WI spending as much time camping, hiking, and canoeing as I could. When I couldn't be in the woods, I was studying science and mathematics. I currently have degrees in math, physics, and computer science, and am always interested in talking technical with likeminded people.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I'll be traveling in Europe this winter before settling in Berlin for a couple months. I'm not sure where I'll end up, so couchsurfing seemed like a natural fit for improvised trips. I haven't surfed before, but it seems like a wonderful way to meet new people while traveling!

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

My partner and I will be managing an ecotourism and conservation research lodge near Mindo, Ecuador next fall. We've worked at remote lodges in the past, but this will be an exciting new adventure for both of us!

Teach, Learn, Share

I've always enjoyed passing on what knowledge I can, whether it's some calculus review or taking someone out camping for the first time. It's fun watching someone develop a new skill, and the same goes for learning new things myself.
