Interests

Other than the arts I have a great interest in fair trade, sustainability and the ethical treatment of animals. No, I am not a hippy. Oh yeah, I absolutely adore dogs and have a dream of owning a ranch where 60 dogs are just roaming about. No, I am not the dog whisperer.
Oh yeah, I loooove soccer and I want to learn french.

Music, Movies, and Books

Music?!?! Wow, I hate these kinds of questions because I never know how to start, or end... Lately, I've been listening to Midnight Boom from the Kills just because it's so damn sexy. The album Garlands from the Cocteau Twins. The Pixies is always on heavy rotation as well as The XX and a little bit of QOTSA when I need my ass kicked (preferably when Nick Oliveri was still around). This isn't even a fraction of the music that excites me.
Regarding books, I'm just about finished The Identity by Milan Kundera and a mexican cookbook all about mole by Patricia Quintana is next..
I am usually drawn to independent cinema like criterion collection stuff.
My ultimate pleasure in movies though are horror films. I'm talking everything from the classics to cheesy b movies from Troma.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

One of the most amazing experiences so far in my lifetime is to have gone on a cross-country tour all throughout Canada.

Teach, Learn, Share

I can teach you how to cook some regional dishes from my home town. Also, I can teach you how to play guitar and drums at the same time while you play some tunes on the piano with your left foot and use your right one to fan yourself if it gets too hot!

I am very interested in learning french so if you'd like to learn some spanish I think an exchange would be great.
