Having worked in the live events industry for 15 years I sold my company at the end of 2015, gave up my home, got rid of possessions and hit the road to discover more of life and ensure life is lived to the full.

2016 will see me undertake a 3000km journey by stand up paddle board from source to see along the river Danube. Paddling though 10 countries and 4 capital cities I'll be the first person to ever complete such an undertaking. The rest of 2016 will be spent travelling, learning and plotting what will come next as I attempt to become a digital nomad.

Born and raised in the UK I'm all you could wish for when looking for someone to welcome in to your home (except for cooking. I'm not great at cooking but getting better each week and eager to learn when ever I can!)

I've travelled more than some but less than others. Lived in the UK, US and Aus. Love live performance of all and any varieties. Will always chose a night spent under a million stars rather than a generic world 5 star hotel . Love to read but never seem to find time to do it enough. Drummer at heart but hated being at the back so self taught some basic guitar and more recently the Ukulele. Lover of Rugby and always try and check out a local sporting event where ever I go so now seem to follow more sporting teams than is healthy.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

Traveling is more about the people you can meet than the place you visit and couch surfing is the perfect way to achieve that. (well, that and the fact I don't have a full time job right now so am saving money where ever I can.)
