About Me
Hello! My name is Andy Bui but I am also known as /KXLD. Hmm, I bet y'all are wondering what's up with that nickname! Well, I left school when I was 20 to pursue my passions for music and that is my stage name. I am a chill yet philosophical guy who is in search to learn more about the world around me. I've been working as a server for about four years now and it's an experience I've learned so much from but I believe now I am ready for the unknown adventures in life. I am also an amateur photographer who loves capturing those candid moments of various emotions. Overall, I see myself as a creator looking to unite like minded and opposing minded people together to learn and help build a better world!
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
I felt like I sacrificed a lot already by deciding to leave school. I've been a server at a restaurant now who has been making decent money but I feel like I deserve more. I guess I am overwhelmed by the routines of life and I am willing to just go out there and do what I truly want to do! I want to meet cool new people and experience new lifestyles which I can learn from and take with me forever.

Music, Movies, and Books
I was inspired by hip hop from a young age. Artists that changed by life are Nujabes, J Dilla, Madlib, and the Wu Tang Clan. I'd listen to any genre of music but the ones that hit me most are the ones that evoke emotions and speaks a strong message. While I was growing up I HATED reading, however, as of last year I started picking up a lot of spiritual and philosophy books and they forever changed my point of view of reading, because I now LOVE reading. Two of my favorite books of all time, The Alchemist, by Paulo Cohelo and, the Tao of Wu, by the RZA of the Wu Tang Clan.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
I feel like life is an amazing trip! Everything that has happened to me today has been amazing because here I am still living. Life has many ups and downs and it is up to ourselves to overcome those fears and make room for growth. If I had to say one amazing thing I've done it would have to be the day I was able to overcome all fears and doubts.
What I Can Share with Hosts
I am appreciative to all in life especially those who lend out a helping hand! I am easy going, respectful, and very fun to be around. Life is the ultimate teacher and I am looking forward to sharing all the stories I've compiled so far on my journey.
