I am a father of five and grandfather of three darlings. All now live independently some interstate so being used to comings and goings of family am finding life a bit quiet!
Am studying counselling (as well as working) and enjoy meeting people.
Have traveled little but mainly to Cambodia to do building projects with my children and once with a school class.
Dont drink smoke rage on but enjoy cooking my limited vegetarian menu.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

Really like the idea of meeting both travelers and locals and sharing stories,
Also seeings I have some spare accommodation it seems silly not to use it.

Woodwork, family, cooking, listening, learning guitar, sailing, tennis, reading.

Most music, the children keep me up with whats new, which is not that much different from the old! (pass on edm).
Like biographies, philosophy, Leunig and occasional fiction.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Collided with a ship on a pitch black night while 80km out to sea in a 30ft catamaran and living to tell the tale.

Teach, Learn, Share

Not much to teach but have a good few years of parenting skills ( not all of them good mind you!) Can cook vegetarian meals and am a Portuguese custard tart specialist.
Have some pretty handy woodwork skills.
