ABOUT ME

Presently I live in Yangshuo, work in an English school here. My friends describe me as easy-going, friendly and sociable.
I love sports, especially football and badminton. I love joining people in outdoor activities. It is my pleasure to have friends come and visit me. Hopefully I will make more friends from around the world. Through chatting with them, listening to their experience, I feel like that I’m taking a journey!

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I have an apartment here in Yangshuo, and we have some dormitories in our school, so it is okay to provide a couple spare rooms for free. CSers who want to come please leave me messages here so that I can make advanced arrangement. Meanwhile, tour advice is available here, all activities in our school are open to visitors, and I’m pleased to show you around when I am free.

Really delighted to host, I believe CS is a brilliant idea to meet friends. So far, all CSers I met are interesting guys, and they are so nice to share their stories.

Interests

Travelling is my biggest interest, as the saying goes'better to see once than to hear for a hundred times.' by now, I have visited many cities in China, and I'm planning to travel abroard too. I prefer places with world Heritage sites and cities with beautiful beaches.

Born as a Chinese, I have inherent love for my country's culture, which includes Chinese Cruises, tea,poems and fictions,calligraphy and traditional architecture. Frankly,I do think I have a good learning on all of them. well,I also have great interest in other cultures, and meeting friends from different places is really a great thing,coz we can share our tour experiences as well as our ideas on any interesting subject.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Xian City Wall impressed me most amazingly. I visited it in the dusk, with drizzling rain and roaring wind that day. On the wall, I saw a sweeping view of ancient architectures. As I wandered there, a moving picture of Tang dynasty (618-904AD) just occurred in my mind. Touching the bricks, having my eyes closed, I felt like I was travelling back to thousands of years ago. Besides, museums and historical sites there are also impressive. I have to say, obviously, I left my heart there.

Teach, Learn, Share

I am keen on learning different languages and cultures,and I can teach people Chinese, or introduce Chinese Chess, Chinese Cruises and Chinese Cultural heritages to people who have interest.
