About Me

CURRENT MISSION

To see how others live and to make frends.

ABOUT ME

I am extremely outgoing. . . I like meeting new people all the time and experiencing anything that someone has to show about their city, their life, or friends. I find it exciting to learn from people who have different knowledge or experiences. I have plenty of energy and love parties. When relaxing, Ill read a book in a cafe or in the sun.

PHILOSOPHY

It changes often.

Music, Movies, and Books

This is a hard one to list. I am an obsessive movie renter. . . one of the best ways to save money in the winter in NY. Books: This winter I read Hunger and Tropic of Cancer. Right now I'm reading Savage Detectives. Music: a lot of things. I like Now Now Every Children, Big Blood, and Crystal Castles for some examples.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Sit, drink, and talk with close friends on the Brooklyn water front in an abondoned tow truck looking out on Manhattan on a snowy winter evening.

Teach, Learn, Share

My knowledge is very focused on music recording technology—I spent 9 years as a music recording and mixing engineer in NY. I spent several of those years as chief engineer, then started a business. But I went to get a Masters 3 years ago and now I work exclusively with the sciences of sound. My focus is on Machine Listening. . . or using computers to model the way humans perceive music.

Countries I’ve Visited

Austria, Canada, Denmark, France, Germany, Italy, Mexico, Poland, Sweden

Countries I’ve Lived In
