ABOUT ME

I am a 40 year old living in Denver, Colorado. I live with my wife in a 2 bedroom house about 2 to 2 1/2 hours from the ski resorts. I am a Civil Engineer with the City of Denver. I love learning and sharing what I have learned with others. I love the outdoors and exploring the world around me. I am a pretty athletic person which is why living near the mountains is a perfect place for me.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

Although I have been considering couchsurfing for a long time, I haven't yet made the leap to host or stay with anyone. I'm hoping to change that now!

I love music. I play guitar for fun. Lately I have been listening to Josh Ritter, Morcheeba, Of Monsters and Men, Mumford and Sons, The Avitt Brothers, The Kooks, Imagine Dragons, etc.
My favorite authors are Steinbeck, Bill Bryson, The Lonely Planet :)

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Hiking to Machu Picchu was amazing. The amazon was great. Scuba diving in Thailand was incredible. Backcountry skiing in Colorado is my favorite exercise.
