I love nature and the outdoors. I'm a keen cyclist and hiker. I'm an ex rock climber, mountaineer, windsurfer etc.
I've currently visited 55 countries, from short breaks to full on travel trips on the road for 18 months. I've worked in 6 countries, sometimes legally!
Also enjoy going to music concerts and reading.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

Looking to occasionally meet people when travelling, perhaps for car share. Maybe once I get my house sorted out I'll offer stays for guests. At the moment I'm fully renovating the property, it looks more like a building site.

Climbing Mount Blanc solo. Its neither my highest or most technical peak. But it was a long term aspiration that was finally achieved and set the goal for higher and more difficult challenges. Besides you always remember your first.
