ABOUT ME

I like meeting new people and sharing ideas, thoughts and opinions. There is always something new to learn and some new mystery to be decyphered - this is partly the beauty of life.
I have always tried to understand better how the world works, to understand other people and myself in relation to the outer world. When I discovered how relative and subjective everything was, it made me confused, as I realized that the truth cannot be apprehended, because it doesn't exist. However, then I realized that it is relativity that gives this world a wonderful diversity and always pushes it forward.

PHILOSOPHY

We should try to open our eyes and see beyond the surface. When you are a free thinker, you are free inside. When you are free inside, you can believe in yourself and your dreams. And if you do that, you will always have the strength to pursue them - you might lose a few battles, but you'll win the war.

Movies - Forrest Gump (very interesting outlook on human destiny and American history), Dangerous Beauty, Eternal Sunshine of the Spotless Mind (both of them show love's true essence, although in different ways),
Evita (both versions; I was always fascinated by the crude cleverness of this woman), Titanic (good representation of the naval tragedy and of a theory about soulmates), Schindler's List (I think I read too many books and saw too many movies about nazi concentration camps), Catch Me If You Can (DiCaprio proves his acting skills very well here, I think, plus it shows that an innocent and pure soul that longs for love can be found in an apparent fraud), Kinsey (this is really great - it is about the father of sexology in the U.S.) and... God, many more movies! I also like Disney animation movies, the child inside me will never cease to exist!

Music - I listen to any song that touches my soul in one way or another, no matter the genre: classical music, old romances and chansonnetes, rock'n'roll, pop, blues, rock, R'n'B, latino, dance, house... you name it. Some of my favourite artists though include Tchaikowski, Strauss, Edith Piaf, Charles Aznavour, Madonna.

I traveled on a magic carpet towards the skies of knowledge through love; I felt the universe was at my feet just because I was holding a particular person's hand; I've seen a primitive soul evolve due to love; I've seen myself break my fall and rise up; I've felt magic.
