Overview
About Me
I study anthropology. I live in Tenerife. Yesterday I accidentally deleted 859 memories from a camera; only the memory card remains.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
I’ve wanted to try it for almost 10 years, but I never really got around to it. Now, I think I have a year to make plans. Also, I’m studying anthropology and I’d like to do a project on the app experience, this alternative to conventional tourism, the traveler’s mindset, and the discourses surrounding living.

Music, Movies, and Books
The last book I read was *A Man Asleep* by Jorge Perec, a bit depressing but cool. *The Social Construction of Reality* by Grinberg is pretty wild, recommended. And Fontcuberta’s essays on photography always deliver. I don’t usually watch movies; I started a documentary about La Polla Records (a punk band) and then stopped. I listen to a lot of music, random jazz, ambient, and lately I’ve been listening to Extremoduro and Mac DeMarco a lot.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
Born
Teach, Learn, Share
Random anthropological tidbits, since that’s what I study. I know a bit about photography, so photography stuff too. A little bit about simple Canarian food, since that’s where I live xD, and some music—guitar, bass, and drums. I can teach basic juggling and probably a few other things as well.
What I Can Share with Hosts
I live in a shared apartment with four other people. I would sleep on the sofa and the other person would sleep in my private room, for greater comfort. We have basic meals, although I’m a bit short on cash, so it would be nice to split those expenses. We’ll see how it goesTo the hosts, what I said before.
