I haven’t updated my Couchsurfing profile cuz I realised in the past few years I haven’t changed much! What have improved are cooking, dancing and German skills. 😆

From September, 2016 to August, 2017, I will study in Nuremberg, Germany as an exchange student. It is such a challenge, leaving home so far and so long but I believe I won't regret what I have decided.

I'm an open-minded person who always with a big smile, but sometimes might be a little bit shy (Asian culture) compared with Western people. I like adventures, try new things, learn different cultures, languages, and make new friends. I like both nature and city. Sometimes the nature is more appealing to me.

CS is definitely a great platform to meet people over the world. Since 2015, I've been hosted and also hosted people. I made many good friends, built up long-term friendship and met many amazing things. I really appreciate couchsurfers who love to share and make my journeys different. As return, I'm always willing to help travelers.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I hosted two foreigners to stay in my place before I joined CS. I found out fun to host people around the world and introduce my country. Also, I think CS makes travels different and wonderful.

Interests

--Languages & Cultures--
I am keen to learn different languages and cultures.

--Nature--
Since I've climbed up to the second highest peak in Taiwan, Snow Mountain (3886 m), I, a city girl, began to love nature. I like hiking and camping but not very skilled.

--Cycling--
Since I was at the age of 8, I have always cycled around the city. I can't live without a bike.

--Swing Dancing--
I’m a Lindy hopper and can teach you some basics. I have visited to the Herräng, the swing dance camp in Sweden and volunteered for a whole month.

--Ukulele playing--
I used to play the piano sometimes when I was back home in Taiwan. Since I moved to Germany, I haven't had any chance to play any musical instruments. Then I bought myself a Ukulele and learned how to play via Youtube.

--Second hand stuff--
When I travel, I love to explore second hand/ vintage clothing, vinyls and second hand books stores. Sometimes I really buy something that I will never use it...but I still find interesting searching some treasures from old things.

--Beer & Coffee--
I like to visit cool cafés and bars. I drink fine coffee in the day and drink draft beer in the night. ;)

Hitchhiking solo as a female backpacker from North Macedonia to Greece.

I can teach you Mandarin.
I can cook some Taiwanese/ Japanese cuisine.
I can also share my culture and some other asian cultures.

If you want to visit Taiwan, I can give you good advice and help you plan the trip. I'm good at planning and guiding. Tell me what you're interested in, I can plan an individual trip for you and be your tour guide. :D
