Why I’m on Couchsurfing

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I am new to couchsurfing. I created an account in January 2013 and couchsurfed for my first time in April 2013 in Denmark with a friend of a friend, with whom I have become friends with. It was a great experience and would like to continue couchsurfing.

Interests

I'm interested in politics, history, economics, philosophy, religion, race and ethnicity, migration, traveling, gender, reading, biology, nature, cultures, eating good food and meeting good people.

Books: I am very behind on my reading, but some of my favorite pieces are: "Imperialism, the Highest Stage of Capitalism" and "The State and Revolution" by Vladimir Lenin; "Lenin's Political Thought: Theory and Practice in the Democratic and Socialist Revolutions" by Neil Harding; "The Economic and Philosophic Manuscripts of 1844" by Karl Marx; The Autobiography of Malcolm X; "1984" by George Orwell. This list will increase.

Movies: V for Vendetta, Fight Club, The Matrix and Matrix Reloaded, Malcolm X (1992), The Bourne Identity-Supremacy-Ultimatum, The Dark Knight, Motorcycle Diaries, Gladiator, Troy, Pan's Labyrinth, Network (from 1976), Pulp Fiction and others I can't remember at the time.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I swam with whale sharks in Mexico.
