Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I love to travel around and get in touch with locals. So i try to show people my hometown, the food and mentality of the people in the ruhrgebiet. On the other side I am happy to get to know more people and their habits all over the world.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I was in NY at a very funny flat, having a cool time with some creative guys.

Interests

I love music which make me feel out of space. I have my own recipe of a lovely cosmopolitan which is so not SATC! I enjoy arts, politics, economics and of course my job: journalism. It leads me to the worst and best places in the world.

Music, Movies, and Books

Movies with authentic and strong female characters influenced me like the documentary of Hannah Arendt. Furthermore I love to watch creepy bullshit and art cinema. Depending to my mood.
I like books but I prefer magazines and journals about cybertechnologie, politics, economics and sports.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

i have to tell you one my own... But I have meet an old school friend in a supermarket which planed to go to france in two days. I organized everything and went with her ending up sleeping in my mini-tent alone in france. I was 18 years old and without fear. It was awesome and showed me how great travelling by myself can be. Nowadays I love my own company but it's even better, when someone is there - from time to time.
