Well almost anything makes me smile, one time I read a line from some article that said answer the phone with a smile and people on the other line will feel it. I am content with the present. I like to chill, I'm not in a rush in life and enjoy getting to know people through conversation and activities or a good ol patio beer!

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I have always crashed on friends places around the countries I've lived in, and it made the traveling so much more enjoyable,interesting and relaxed! I like going to their favorite places compared to the ones you read about. So now I'm hoping to meet friends in countries I haven't lived in and learn about the places they frequent!

Interests

I'm into spicy, fresh, sweet, odd combinations, crazy fruits and veggies, desserts, really just trying different foods and drinks. Being in the water, or near it, is when I feel most at ease and refreshed, I adore swimming and playing, surfing, canoeing, kayaking, and jumping! Outside hiking in canyons, mountains, forests or deserts is wonderful and serene and exciting for me. Reading, writing, pondering, card games, people watching and casual drinks never disappoints me. I like singing, yoga, meditation and running or cycling when I want to clear my mind. I love going out on the town, and adore being in the hustle of colourful festivals with music and loud noises and smells of all sorts. Extreme or chill I'm down for anything.

Music, Movies, and Books

I'm down for literally any music, I enjoy classic vinyl, jazz, country, hip hop, reggae, dubstep, trap, rap, classical, rock, acoustic and minimal. Love being introduced to people's favorites.
Books: Hitchhikers Guide to the Galaxy, Still Life With Woodpecker (amazing amazing book), any Tolkein novel, The Three Musketeers.
Movies, watched Deadpool recently and really loved it.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I got to hike with a giraffe named Gambit in Eastern South Africa, he likes people but he is wild! He licks your hand and follows you, but watch out he will run after you if you go to fast on your walk!

Teach, Learn, Share

I teach swimming, and can make some tastey meals, and bake up some delicious treats and fresh bread!
I've always wanted to learn to sail and ride a motorcycle and fly a plane.
I enjoy sharing food and friendships and stories of any sort.

I bring positivity and curiosity, along with good times. I can make a mean breakfast sandwich whether vegetarian or not, it will be juicy and fresh. Ill adapt to your schedule and am always open to suggestions.
