Overview
About Me
I'm currently an exchange student studying in the University of Strathclyde, Glasgow. I will be here until June 2017. During this time, I'm looking to go on a budget travel to explore the less travelled parts of Europe and meet new people!
I love travelling and am open to any opportunity that gets me on the plane, the ship or even in the bus as long as I am out and away! I love thrills and especially likes challenging myself to different environments and situations (even though I'm scared out of my wits half the time).
I'm an extroverted-introvert who likes to listen to stories and discuss about life in general. But I can also rattle on and on when it comes to topic that I'm familiar with! I'm also a big fan of cultural exchange! I would love to teach the Singapore language (Singlish) to foreigners because they are so unique and it's a language that immediately rings home to Singaporeans outside of Singapore. :D
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
It's an excellent way to cut travelling costs and to meet new people! Most importantly, I'm living the culture and lifestyle of the locals. On top of that, I get to widen my horizon to the different types of people that I am potentially meeting.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
I have stayed in a 5-star resort, a minsu (homestay) and local brothels in Taiwan within one trip with my family.
That is one experience that makes me believe that travelling without a concrete plan is sometime the best way to give you an insight into the local culture.
Teach, Learn, Share
I am open to anything that is new and thrilling, particularly on outdoor sports that I have never tried before!
What I Can Share with Hosts
I don't possess any special skills that I can impart/share with the host, but I do love (and proud of!) our very unique mix of different languages into one we called the Singapore language (Singlish)! And I will be more than willing to teach Singlish and our local dialects! (;
On top of that, I can also share my experience of trekking overseas in Malaysia, Philippines as well as Indonesia!
