CURRENT MISSION

As I cannot regularly travel all over the world, I would like to bring "the world" to my wunderful Heidiland. I would like to support travellers in Switzerland to spending their money in activities and not expensive accomodations in Switzerland.

ABOUT ME

Since the travelling virus jumped on me, I love it, to keep in contact with travellers all over the world. If I meet them personally, in facebook or by couchsurfing it's all a great oppurtunity to make friends.

I am a calm person and enjoy a lot in knowing a lot of different cultures. I love to speak different languages and it keeps me young to be in contact with young people, too.

PHILOSOPHY

I belive we all are like a mirror. I we spread out positive energy it will come back from the other person the same positive energy. I feel that contact to other cultures does open my mind a lot and gives me a lot of energy back.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I met on my trip to Costa Rica and Guatemala a couple of couchsurfing members and we have made really good friends. I hope I ever will be able to travell in their country. It would make me very happy to host many travellers who want to visit a region (Heidiland). A couple of years I hosted with some members of the hospitality club in Norway.

Music, Movies, and Books

I support in organising the Jazz Festival Sargans which takes place all two years (every even year, i.e. 2012). I love also Rockn' Roll, Irish Folk, Latino music, Classic Musik and many other music styles.

I love reading, all kind of books (philosopy, psychology, cultures, travel reports aso. aso.).

I do not watch TV often, but like a lot to go to the cinema. Specially open air cinema in summer time:

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I have been travelling in 2008 for nine month in Scandinavia and South America (Ecuador, Peru, Bolivia, Argentina). This time-out gave me a lot of energy and a complete new view of the live and living. I met and still meet a lot of interesting people which give me a new point-of-view in seeing other things different.
