Hello!

I recently graduated from UCSB with a Global Studies major. Cantonese Chinese was actually my first language but then I started learning English in school and lost most of my Cantonese haha. Still, I love languages.

我为什么加入 Couchsurfing

As a solo traveler, I like couchsurfing as a new to meet people and get a more authentic look into the places I'm traveling. I think it's such a cool personal look into a different world.

兴趣

I love outdoor activities, especially hikes and beautiful runs. I, like everyone else here, loves traveling and culture shock. Cooking is also a big part of my life so one of the most important things of traveling is trying all the different foods that I can't have at home.

我做过的一件不可思议的事情

I went to live in Nicaragua for a month with extremely basic Spanish. Looking back it probably wasn't the smartest thing I did but man that was probably the best month of my entire life. I went with a group to learn about sustainable gardening in a small village where no one really spoke English. I had to learn real quick.
