new to the couchsurfing thing (signed up last time I spent an extended period of time in Europe but went home before I had a chance to use this site) but have had amazingly positive experiences thus far!

I'm an avid reader and I enjoy "the classics" the most ('East of Eden' by Steinbeck is probably my favorite book, for example) but I've been known to indulge in some lighter reading from time to time too... I'm no elitist!
