ABOUT ME

editI am from South of Brazil but moved to Sydney on my own in 2007 as a student. Supposed to stay only for 2 years and ended up getting a scholarship at Uni here which made me stay till today. As soon as I finished Uni I've decided to have a break and travel around Europe by myself without booking or organizing anything. It was very scary but the best experience in my life. The freedom and unexpected feeling are just priceless. Meeting people every new stop and catching up again in other places was just awesome. Since then I keep planning my new trip as soon as I finish one.
I am a people person, love a good laugh, love dancing (as any Brazilian)and I am always up to new challenges and new experiences.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I am brand new in couch surfing. I've met a lot of people in Europe who told me great things about it and now that I am in USA, I just thought it would be a good chance to try it. I am planning to spent about 1 and a half months going to: Whole California, Las Vegas, Austin, New Orleans, Miami, Orlando, New York, Chicago and spent a week in Vancouver. I had some experiences spending time with locals in some cities I've been and it makes a big difference. So, I hope I am lucky enough to meet great people in USA.

Interests

I used to play handball. Love exercising. On the weekends I prefer spending time out with friends than staying at home watching TV. By out I mean anything outdoors, even go for a walk in a park or catching up in the beach or coffee shop. I enjoy reading as well and learning new things.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Caving in Waitomo in North of New Zealand. Apart from the beauty of the caves it was a great experience. I am claustrophobic and I had to control my mind for 3 hours to don't have an attack. Especially when out of nothing I had to pass through holes which I had no idea how narrow or how long they were. The outcome of this experience was a complete feel of power over my mind which I know I can use to do anything now.
