About Me

CURRENT MISSION

To learn something from every culture and to take something away from every experience. I want to incorporate everything I can into my life. You only stop learning when you're dead.

ABOUT ME

I enjoy good people, good things, and good energy. I've been beyond blessed in my time on this Earth with so much opportunity and life to live.

PHILOSOPHY

It all comes back to you, you'll finally get what you deserve.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

At the moment I don't have a couch to offer since I am traveling but once I am back home I would love to become more involved in hosting travelers or people who just need a couch and good company for a few days. For now I am a surfer, just learning the tricks of the trade!

Interests

I enjoy yoga, reading, traveling (obviously...), and basically just hanging out. I'm a pretty low key person but I really enjoy whatever activity someone throws my way, from hiking to mediation to a throw down, drag out party :]

Music, Movies, and Books

I'm rather eclectic in my tastes for all of the above but I really love biographies and documentaries. I like when things make me think or I can file away a new piece of information. My guilty pleasure is DEFINITELY crime TV, though. Might border on obsession.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

At the moment one experience I have that is very close to my heart is my time spent in Ireland. That was my first trip out of my comfort zone and I learned so much about myself and other people. I made so many friends, experienced the warm hearts of strangers, saw the most beautiful country sides and coasts, and really had the opportunity to explore the world as well as myself. I learned how wonderful people could be and how to reciprocate that. I realized there that I'm the only one who holds me back. When I'm too nervous to talk to new people or see new things it is only me who is preventing myself from breaking through. I don't hold myself back anymore. Never will again. Slante, Ireland! Here's to you, you beautiful animal!

Teach, Learn, Share

I'd really like to learn how to cook different foods and I want to learn how to say "cheers" in every language I encounter! Any knowledge anyone is willing to share, bring it on.

What I Can Share with Hosts

I love to laugh. I'd be happy to bring a bottle of wine or a case of beer or even a pack of water, sit around, and laugh for hours.

Also, I work with kids learning English as a second language. So if you have children and want them to practice a little bit of English, I am your girl.
