About Me
Currently exploring the west coast of my beautiful country. Plan to head to Nepal around the beginning of November. Am looking for trekking buddies for the Annapurna Circuit so give a shout if you are interested!
I'm a civil engineering graduate who has been meaning to settle down and get an engineering desk job for the past 3 years but keep getting distracted by travels. I've been working as a surveyor with intermittent trips around the world.
I am constantly planning and scheming for the next adventure whether that is trekking in Nepal or a weekend camping trip in Nova Scotia.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing
I find staying with locals while travelling provides a more authentic experience and allows you to see the real country you are visiting. I love talking with people about what their life is like in their country and getting to experience some of it with them.
While at home I miss the openness you experience while travelling and connecting with strangers and I'm hoping that staying connected to the travelling community while at home will help to keep the travel spark alive.
Interests
I love adventures of all varieties especially those in the outdoors. Multi-day hikes are an integral part of my long weekends and travel plans these days and hiking the PCT is one of my goals.
I'm an amateur photographer as well and would love to go shoot with people or talk photography because I have so much to learn!

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
Two of my favorite travel moments were:
1. Hiking the Tongariro Alpine Crossing in New Zealand for sunrise. Sitting and watching the sun come up over the mountains while steam from the volcanic vents warmed my butt was such an incredible moment.
2. Attending the wedding of a friend in India with 8 other university pals. The ceremonies, lavish events and dancing down the streets of Sri Ganganagar were definitely opportunities of a lifetime.
